XTREME SEMICONDUCTOR AND FALCON ELECTRONICS SIGN PARTNERSHIP TO PROVIDE UNPARALLELED SERVICE AND SUPPORT TO MILITARY, AEROSPACE AND SPACE CUSTOMERS
Austin, TX – XTREME Semiconductor announces today an agreement with Falcon Electronics establishing them as their distribution partner for all of North America. XTREME Semiconductor, a premier provider of standard high reliability semiconductor products to the military and aerospace markets, specializes in providing support to customers who are experiencing problems with the procurement of hard-to-find (DMS), obsolete and end-of-life (EOL) high reliability microelectronics components.
Falcon Electronics will distribute XTREME Semiconductors complete line of recently introduced military A/D converters consisting of 12, 14, and 16-bit devices. Falcon will provide customers with design, technical and customer service support for the current line of ADC products offered by XTREME along with support for new state-of-the-art products planned for release. Falcon has been selling this line of A/D converters since 2000 through a previous agreement with Maxwell Technologies. "We are very happy to continue selling these A/D converters through the newly formed XTREME Semiconductor group." says Brian Diaz, President of Falcon Electronics. "This has been a product family that served a unique niche for many of our key customers.", he continued.
“The principals of XTREME have enjoyed a long successful history serving the military and aerospace markets. "The fact that XTREME has chosen Falcon to distribute these parts means not only do we maintain our position with this product but our customers will see very little disruption in there procurement for these parts." said Skip Wecker, V.P. of Marketing for Falcon Electronics.
Falcon’s obsession with providing service to their customers and their professional approach to doing business played a major part in our decision to team up with Falcon” states Marty Lanning, a Senior Partner for XTREME Semiconductor. “Falcon offers nationwide account management and a "roll-up the sleeves" approach to meeting customer's procurement needs” adds Lanning. “Another key decision for teaming with Falcon is their Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) classification”, states Paul Hilfer, a Senior Partner for XTREME Semiconductor. “Having regional representation in the Northeast, Southeast and Southwest, makes Falcon Electronics the most turned to SDB classified distributor serving the military and aerospace markets today”, adds Hilfer.
XTREME Semiconductor, working closely with Defense Supply Center Columbus, DSCC, has plans to be the newest company to achieve QML Certification. All of XTREME Semiconductor products are designed to meet rigorous requirements of the military specifications for quality and reliability. “ Having XTREME Semiconductor listed on the QML is a powerful statement to our customers, communicating that the products they purchase from our company are built with carefully documented, reliable processes that ensure high quality”, states Hilfer. “Our ability to provide turn key solutions for obsolete and end-of-life components, along with superior customer service and commitment to on-time delivery, is what makes XTREME Semiconductor “Your High Reliability Solutions Company”, adds Lanning.
